Old Dominion Chapter, No. 364, National Sojourners, Inc. SCHEDULED ACTIVITIES 2008 CALENDAR Pres. Tom Little reported the following program schedule for July through December 2008 Meetings:
July - Report on the National Convention, wear Hawaiian Shirts
Aug - Program on George Washington, wear Golf Shirts
Sept - Program on Jamestown, VA, back to wearing business clothes and ties.
Oct. -
Nov - ROTC/Military Night
Dec - Holiday Program
Jan - Masters and Wardens Night
Bro. Tom is also working on getting a program on Mt Vernon, and one on changes at Collingwood later in the year.

Here's a recap for your recollection, scheduling, and confirmation (PLEASE), as appropriate.
1. 30 Sep 07 ~ Warrenton Overlook Health & Rehab Center - 360 Hospital Drive, Warrenton, VA/(540) 349-1919. Heroes and Camp Followers in attire OR U.S. Marines in uniform to assist Bro. John Cole from 2 PM to about 3-3:30 PM. Taking care of and serving the seniors at the facility on their "Senior Prom." Rooms to change clothes will be provided. 2. 15 Oct 07 ~ Blue Ridge Scottish Rite Club - 6514 John Marshall Hwy/Main Street, The Plains, VA, Cochran Lodge #271, at 1900 hrs. (7 PM). Building the Flag Program, Lead is Larry Lisle with Jerry Kunkle, and help maybe from Lora Jane and/or Judie. Hero volunteer would help. Ladies welcome, dinner served.
3. 20 Oct 07 ~ DC Scottish Rite - 2800 16th St, NW, DC, (202) 232-8155. Americanism (The Many Faces of Old Glory) and JROTC Awards Night. All are welcome, but need to know numbers in advance for catered dinner (6 PM) and Program (7 PM). Color Guard of Heroes of '76 - Two musketeers, three Flag Bearers - Buddy Wagner (muskets), Larry Lisle (Cmdr and Natl and Sojo Flags), Doug Jordan, Herb Hollander, Leo Powell. Dress Colonials w/white gloves and tricorn. Color Guard - are your ladies coming ... numbers for food.
4. 09 Nov 07 ~ Grand Lodge of VA - Sheraton Richmond West Hotel - 6624 West Broad Street, Richmond, Virginia 23230, Phone: (804) 285-2000. Color Guard of Heroes in Dress Colonial attire, w/white gloves, tricorn. Report NLT 0900 hrs (9 AM). Team is Jeff St. Onge, Larry Lisle, Steve Sanford, Jan Harvey, Bill Turner. Colors provided by GL and/or Hotel. Breakfast offered, so need to know who wishes tickets.
5. 11 Nov 07 ~ American Legion Post #176 - Springfield ( http://www.vapost176.org/direc.htm ), need one or two Sojourners or Heroes in attire for Building the Flag Program. Report time is 10:45 AM, program is at 11:11 AM. Donation is being made to the Chapter. So far, WGLT and Patti have volunteered.
6. 11 Nov 07 ~ U.S. Naval Academy Chapel, Annapolis, MD. Massing of Colors at 2 PM promptly, so arrive ca. 1:30 PM. Sojourners, Heroes, and Camp Followers needed to carry flags. WGLT and Patti, so far. Don't forget to bring the Chapter Flag, too. Come early and enjoy the town and lunch, first.
7. 08 Dec 07 ~ Grand Lodge of DC - Open Installation of Grand Lodge Officers @ DCSR, 2800 16th St, NW, DC, (202) 232-8155. Color Guard - Sanford, Wagner (muskets), Lisle, Turner. Need one or two more. Musketeers (2), Amer Flag, DC Flag, GLofDC Flag - flags provided. Heroes in Dress Colonial attire w/white gloves, and tricorn. Report time is NLT 1530 hrs. (3:30 PM). Ladies welcome.
